We offer exclusive discounts to newsletter subscribers, so be sure to sign up using the form at the bottom of the page.

If you cancel 30+ days before your check-in date, you will receive a full refund. If you cancel 15-29 days before your check-in date, you will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations made within 14 days of check-in are not eligible for a refund, without exception. We encourage all guests to purchase travel insurance at checkout in case plans unexpectedly change.

We're happy to make changes to your existing reservation when availability allows. Please contact bookings@splendidstaysvt.com with any change requests. If your plans change significantly, you may cancel your trip and re-book.

Silver Fern House, The Treehouse, Serenity Now Farmhouse and Weatherwood Cabin are dog friendly. Unfortunately, none of our properties allow cats or other animals. Canine family members must be included on your reservation at the time of booking and are subject to a $50 pet fee (per stay). By default, Serenity Now Farmhouse allows two dogs per stay and all other properties allow one. If you would like to bring two or more dogs, please email hello@splendidstaysvt.com for approval before booking. Service animals (as defined by the ADA) are welcome at all of our properties. If you are bringing a service animal, we ask that you let us know in advance as a courtesy. Emotional support animals and therapy dogs are not considered service animals under applicable law and are subject to our pet policies. Please note that The Treehouse is the only property that has a partially fenced back yard.

We welcome kids at all of our properties, but some are more family focused than others. Weatherwood Cabin is great for families with young children, featuring a playroom with books and toys and an outdoor play structure. A Pack N Play, high chair, and baby gates for the stairs are provided for our littlest guests. Families traveling together love Mountain View Escape. There is a game room with a TV, ping pong table, and foosball table in the basement, while the main living space is upstairs. A bunk room, a twin room, and a Pack N Play offer flexible sleeping arrangements for kids of all ages. The Treehouse also offers two living spaces on different floors, with a foosball table and game console on the lower level. The Quechee Club provides year-round fun for families, with indoor and outdoor pools, lake access in the summer and skiing, sledding, and ice skiing in the winter. (Plus golf, racquet sports, and a fitness center for adults and teens.) In addition to the properties above, we provide a Pack N Play at Silver Fern House, Innisfree, and Serenity Now Farmhouse.

Winter is a wonderful time to visit Vermont, but it's important to be prepared. Although most roads are well maintained, snow and ice are a normal part of life in Vermont (as are hills and winding roads) so we strongly recommend a vehicle with 4WD or AWD with all-season or snow tires for all of our properties. The driveways and walkways at each of our properties are plowed, sanded ,and shoveled as needed before and during your stay. Please be sure to read the Winter Driving and Access Disclosure at the end of the rental agreement when you make your reservation. Parties and events are strictly prohibited under any circumstances.

Daytime visitors in groups of 4 or fewer are generally welcome. Only registered guests may stay overnight. If you have local friends or family who would like to stop by for a visit during your stay and will exceed the 4 visitor limit, please check with us in advance.
