Located just 8 minutes from Okemo and 5 minutes from central Ludlow, this cozy retreat is the perfect home base for your winter getaway. The Little House combines Vermont charm with modern comfort and is ideal for couples and small families.
LIVING & DINING AREA
Gather around the gas wood stove, which turns on with a simple wall switch. The warm wood-paneled walls create a cozy cocoon for curling up on the sofa or reading in a rocking chair.
The dining table seats six and is surrounded by windows that look out onto the backyard.
Not ready to totally unplug? The house includes WiFi and a smart TV with YouTube TV (for live channels), Netflix, and Prime Video.
KITCHEN
The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to prepare a hearty meal after an adventure-filled day. We provide pantry essentials to get you started.
BEDROOMS
The Little House sleeps up to 6 guests in 2 bedrooms. For groups of adults only, we recommend a maximum of 4 guests for optimal comfort.
Bedroom 1: Queen bed
Bedroom 2: Full bed plus a twin daybed with trundle
BATHROOM
Our compact bathroom includes a shower, tub, and pedestal sink.
OUTDOOR SPACE
Step out onto the deck for a quiet morning coffee as the snow falls, or sip cocoa in the Adirondack chairs under the crisp winter sky.
The private backyard offers peaceful woodland views and a large open area for kids (or adults!) to play in the snow.
Where you'll be
We might be a bit biased, but we think the cottage is in the perfect spot for quiet and privacy with small town amenities close by. It's on the way into town from most points out of state, up on a quiet hill where you'll rarely hear more than a handful of cars pass in a day. Yet in three minutes, you can be at the bottom of the hill - 5 minutes to the right is the legendary Singletons store, Crows Bakery, or Outer Limits. 5 to the left, and you're right downtown just minutes from Okemo.

I had a lovely weekend at The Little House with my husband and 2 kids. It is very conveniently situated - a quick drive to the town of Ludlow and also to Okemo ski mountain. The house itself was extremely neat and clean and also well stocked with all the necessities. Kate also left excellent coffee, maple syrup and pancake mix which we really appreciated the morning after arriving late the previous evening. Kate was very responsive and communication was easy.

It was a girls trip for us to celebrate my birthday and we enjoyed the stay so much! The cabin is really nice, kitchen feels much nicer in real life than in photos, very clean bedding linens. We loved the somewhat remote location and the feeling of the forest and nature around us. Kate assisted so well and so fast with any questions we had. Would love to come back!
