Escape to Weatherwood Cabin, where rustic log cabin charm meets modern comfort and style. This cozy yet spacious stay is your perfect home base for a memorable Vermont getaway with family, friends, and your four-legged companion.
LIVING AREA AND KITCHEN
The heart of the home is the open-plan ground floor, a warm and inviting space designed for connection. Sink into the oversized, cloud-like sectional sofa to watch a movie, play a board game, or simply relax. A cozy reading nook, complete with a selection of books, puzzles, and games, awaits you for quiet moments.
The fully equipped, eat-in kitchen has everything you need to prepare delicious home-cooked meals, from quality cookware to pantry essentials.
BEDROOMS
Upstairs, four comfortable bedrooms sleep up to 8 guests, though we recommend no more than 6 adults for maximum comfort. All rooms feature new beds and linens for a restful night's sleep.

BATHROOMS
The recently remodeled upstairs bathroom includes a tub and shower, and a convenient half-bath is located on the main level.
OUTDOOR LIVING
Step outside to a spacious backyard where you can gather around the Solo Stove in Adirondack chairs for a cozy evening. A new covered patio features a grill and a dining table with seating for six, perfect for enjoying meals outdoors on crisp autumn days.
Families love the large yard and outdoor play structure with plenty of space for kids to run, explore, and enjoy the fresh mountain air.
Where you'll be
Weatherwood Cabin is located in Perkinsville, VT, a hamlet of Weathersfield. It is in a residential neighborhood, but all of the properties are on large lots so you have total privacy, with woods surrounding the back yard.
The cabin is 15 minutes from I-91 and just 5 minutes up the road from Springfield, where you will find two grocery stores (Shaw's and a local food co-op), a historic movie theater, restaurants, and a coffee shop. Don't sleep on The Copper Fox -- best food in the area!
There are lots of opportunities to enjoy the outdoors nearby -- too many to list here! Ask us for our favorite recommendations.
The location is truly the best of all worlds.

We had the best time at Kate’s beautiful home. If you’re looking for a luxurious place in a peaceful area, you won’t be disappointed!!

Our family of 4 absolutely loved our stay at the cabin. It was our first time visiting and hopefully it won’t be our last! The cabin was exactly as pictured - but so many wonderful added details once in person! We brought our dog who loved the many windows to look out from, as well as exploring the area on foot. We skied at Okemo - the drive is an easy 25 min. We loved dining at Copper Fox just down the road in nearby Springfield. The host was very proactive in reaching out to us about a potential ice storm, and even extended our checkout time to accommodate the weather and bad road conditions. Thank you so much for such a memorable stay!

This was the perfect cozy getaway and we felt instantly at home. The host was incredibly organized, responsive and gave us great local tips. We'd highly recommend this place for a relaxing trip to Vermont and can't wait to come back!

Cozy, comfortable cabin that felt just like home (the home had everything we needed and more). Located on a quiet street with minimal car traffic, staying here truly felt like an escape. The couch and all of the beds felt like clouds, linens were plentiful and clean, and the water pressure was perfect. You’ll love sitting on the front porch as the sun goes down and then sitting around the fire. We especially loved that there was plenty of fire wood for us to use. We weren’t “home” much to really use it, but the WiFi was fast and reliable.<br> </br> For those traveling with infants/children, the house has plenty of room and everything you need to be comfortable, just make sure to bring a sound machine (we did) because the cabin is a little squeaky, which we expected! It’s a cabin (: We can’t wait to stay again.

We had an amazing stay at Kate’s place! The home is clean, updated, and decorated beautifully. We brought our one year old, and the house has a high chair, a variety of toys, and the yard is perfect for kiddos. The house is about 30 minutes south of Woodstock, which made for a great day trip! We would come back anytime!

Kate's place was very homey. Plenty of space. was so peaceful and quiet. Great place to relax. The front porch was beautiful to sit and watch the hummingbirds. It was close to go site seeing and not far from the Vermont country store. would definitely book again.
