Known simply as The Cabin, our vacation home is the perfect setting for a relaxing Vermont getaway.
KITCHEN, LIVING, AND DINING AREA
There’s plenty of room for everyone to spread out on the main floor, where the living and dining areas flow seamlessly into the kitchen.
Prepare meals in the fully stocked kitchen, gather around the dinner table for meals with family and friends, or pile onto the big comfy couch for movie night.
In the evenings, step out onto the deck to watch the sunset and enjoy the quiet beauty of the surrounding hills.
While summer days are warm and sunny, cooler mountain evenings can still call for a little extra coziness — the gas stove provides the comfort of a fire without any of the hassle.
BEDROOMS
The Cabin sleeps up to 8 guests across three bedrooms.
Bedroom 1 (upstairs): Queen bed
Bedroom 2 (upstairs): Full bed plus a twin daybed with trundle
Bedroom 3 (ground floor): Queen bed
**If your group is traveling with all adults, we recommend a maximum of 6 guests for optimal comfort.**
BATHROOMS
There are two bathrooms in the home.
The downstairs bathroom, located between the kitchen and Bedroom 3, was recently remodeled and features a spacious walk-in shower.
Upstairs, a Jack-and-Jill bathroom sits between Bedroom 1 and Bedroom 2 and includes a combination tub/shower.
OUTDOOR LIVING
One of the best parts of staying at The Cabin is simply enjoying the property itself.
Start your morning with coffee on the wraparound deck, fire up the grill for summer dinners, or take a peaceful walk through the surrounding land.
The property is especially beautiful in the evening, when the setting sun casts a warm golden glow across the hills and forest.
Where you'll be
5 minutes to Ludlow downtown bars, shops, restaurants, groceries, etc..., 8 minutes to Okemo Mountain Ski Area and Nordic Center, 3 minutes to the famous Singletons General Store with smoked meats, VT cheeses, etc..., 40-45 minutes to both Killington and Stratton and under 30 minutes to Bromley ski mountian and Magic Ski mountain.
Getting around
Attached one-car garage will keep you dry on the snowiest of days. Ample additional parking in circular driveway makes it easy for guests to caravan to the mountain together, or take a solo adventure without playing car=-parking Tetris.
Okemo mountain has shuttle buses in the winter that will bring you to and from downtown. So if you find yourself sleeping in past first chair, there's another way to get up to the slopes without fighting Blue Lot traffic!
