Welcome to The Treehouse, a stylish retreat tucked into the woods of Quechee. Perched on a hill and surrounded by trees, the home earns its name the moment you arrive.
Level up your stay with Quechee Club access to enjoy the indoor pool, fitness center, and seasonal outdoor activities. (See below for more info.)
LIVING SPACES
The main living area sits on the second floor, sharing space with the dining area and adjoining kitchen. A comfy leather couch and three arm chairs provide plenty of room for your entire group to relax as you play a game, watch a movie, or simply enjoy time together in front of the fire.
During the holiday season, a Christmas tree and menorah bring festive cheer to the home.
The ground floor den offers even more space to spread out. With a TV, game console, and foosball table, it is especially popular with younger guests. Two twin-size sleeper sofas provide flexible sleeping arrangements for families and groups.
KITCHEN + DINING
The newly renovated kitchen is small but mighty, with modern appliances and everything you need to cook a real meal.
The dining area seats six, with an additional 4 spots at the counter.
BEDROOMS + BATHROOMS
The Treehouse sleeps up to 8 guests across three bedrooms:
Bedroom 1: Queen bed with an en suite bathroom
Bedroom 2: Full bed
Bedroom 3: 2 twin beds
Two twin sleeper sofas in the ground floor den provide additional sleeping spaces.
Both bathrooms have been recently updated with modern fixtures and a clean, spa-like feel.
Bathroom 1: Adjoins the primary bedroom on the second floor
Bathroom 2: On the ground floor, shared by bedrooms 2 and 3.
OUTDOOR LIVING
The lower deck features a large hot tub and is fully covered for a cozy and comfortable soak, no matter the season or weather.
Step onto the upper deck to grill or gather around the gas fire pit under the string lights.
Canine family members will enjoy frolicking in the fenced yard — created just for them!

PETS
The Treehouse is dog friendly, however we do not accept cats due to allergies.
We allow one dog per booking by default, so If you are traveling with 2+ dogs, please get in touch for pre-approval before booking (bookings@splendidstaysvt.com)
Dogs must be included in your booking, and a $50 pet fee will be added to reservation cost.
ABOUT THE QUECHEE CLUB
Your booking includes optional access to the Quechee Club for an additional daily fee, paid directly to the Club.

Where you'll be
The Treehouse is tucked into a quiet, wooded corner of Quechee, one of Vermont’s most charming and sought-after villages. The house is in a peaceful residential community surrounded by trees, offering a true sense of privacy.
Despite the quiet setting, everything you need is just a few minutes from the house— from groceries, restaurants, and breweries to hiking, golf, and swimming.
The location provides a convenient launchpad for exploring the Upper Valley and surrounding areas. Woodstock is only 15 minutes away, with its iconic village green, boutique shops, and farm-to-table restaurants. Hanover and Dartmouth are about 15 minutes away as well. You’ll also be perfectly positioned for skiing at Saskadena Six, Killington, Pico, and Okemo.
Getting around
We strongly recommend a vehicle with 4WD or AWD and all-season or snow tires for all winter visitors. Although most roads in the area are well maintained, snow and ice are a normal part of life in Vermont, as are hills and winding roads.

Our family just loved staying at Kate’s home! The house is adorable, is stocked with everything you could possibly need, and was located in a beautiful, peaceful area just a few minutes away from Woodstock and great hiking! There were thoughtful touches, a fenced in backyard for our dog, and a hot tub and foosball table for my kiddos. We would absolutely stay again!!

Kate was a wonderful host! She was friendly, communicative, and proactive in keeping us informed throughout our stay. The house was lovely, clean, and well maintained, and she was very thoughtful in offering compensation for an issue with the dishwasher. We really appreciated her hospitality and would happily recommend staying with Kate!

The house was very clean and had everything we needed! The host was very accommodating and quickly responded! Great location! Would definitely go back! The small fenced in yard was awesome to have for a dog!

We rented her home under difficult circumstances due to a family health emergency. We had to extend our stay day by day after our original reservation ended. Kate was wonderful the way she responded to our situation. I highly recommend her as a host. Will be a wonderful place to stay as we approach the fall lead changing season.

We had a wonderful stay at the tree house. Lots of room on the two floors inside and out to allow for privacy if you wanted some quiet time away from the group. The kitchen was fully equipped. Appreciated the wok and multiple coffee makers. The surroundings were so peaceful. It was just what we needed. Will absolutely return. Thank you Kate for hosting us!!

This was a perfect house for a family of 5 traveling with a dog. We enjoyed the home with the amenities including the foosball table and were able to utilize the grill and the kitchen after a long day of biking and hiking. The location was perfect getting to the town of Woodstock and Quechee within minutes. Would love to stay here again.
